Mille Kalsmose - Cosmic Relations

Artist Mille Kalsmose approached Juan Alfaro to develop her project from design details to final fabrication. Juan Alfaro worked closely with Kalsmose to bring her artistic vision to life. The JAD Art Department utilized both old-world techniques such as manual rolling as well as modern-day 3D modeling creating waterjet cutting files to execute the precision main interlocking frames of the sculptural pieces. The final product was then patinated with a custom finish achieving a lightly distressed weathered appearance.
